Destinations
There are many great places that your can cruise to. Part of the fun of cruising is the planning and preparation for the cruise. We keep a world map in our office. Red pins are places we've been to, white pins are cruises that are already booked and green pins are those cruises we are considering.
Some of the best cruises from above (going from left to right) Barcelona Spain, The Inside Passage, Honolulu Hawaii and Skagway Alaska.
Prior to deciding where to go be sure to do some research on the location. Go to YouTube and look for videos about the destination and also excursions available. From there, shop around to the various cruise line websites. Watch videos on the ships going to those destinations. It's critically important you are happy with the ship so watch as many videos as possible about the ship.
Finally look for pricing. Cruise prices can change dramatically over time. I have cancelled a reservation and rebooked a cruise more than once. Most recently I lost a $500 deposit but rebooked at a $4,000 lower price so I was happy to give up the deposit.
